As most of you know, Angel Lover was one of the original series DoReMii was founded on. What you probably don’t know is the turbulent path this series took to make it to today. The wonderful day we can share this entire series with you, with English subtitles.
Angel Lover had a little curse on it. Over the past 5 years Angel Lover has had five mods. Four of which are no longer with DRM. We lost our source of RAWs twice and were forced to resort to crappy super dark ones. Despite all the love we have for this awesome series, it just suffered a lot. Not to mention, the early episodes were heavily used as learning blocks for DoReMii and its staff. Oh man, they were pretty awful.

Despite the beating it took, Angel Lover has finally made it to the finish line… and believe it or not, it’s in much better condition for it all. We’ve polished up those spotty first episodes and purchased lovely new DVDs for consistent, clear rips. Every one of our staff members—even the ones who are no longer with us—is so amazing for their hard work it took to stick it out and finishing this series. Especially Resie, who is pretty much the only reason we were able to release Angel Lover in time for our 5th birthday!

Our first release for this special birthday is the complete series of...

Chen Hao Yuan is an honor student with a mellow personality. His best friend Hong Cheng Yi, on the other hand, is delinquent who did time in juvenile detention for bank robbery. Together they helped their classmate get off drug addiction, exposed their teacher's dirty secrets, and even tried to find the bees that have gone missing because of the upcoming 2012 apocalypse. Their carefree attitude towards life turned to rage when they discovered that a corrupted politician was responsible for both of their families' misfortunes. The boys got a gun and decided to explode the day before their high school graduation.

This is an amazing 5 episode drama. It is not an idol drama, it is a human drama full of themes of friendship, love, sex, drugs, abuse, corruption, violence and revenge. A fantastic drama filled with compelling characters brilliantly acted by fresh new faces. There are a bunch of cameos too so keep an eye out for them.

It's probably also worth mentioning that Days We Stared at the Sun won a bunch of awards at the 46th Golden Bells awards including Best Mini Series, Best Actor in a Mini Series, Best Supporting Actor & Actress in a Mini Series and Best Mini Series Screenplay.

We bring you all 5 episodes in both SD & HD. We recommend the HD version.

It's been awhile folks but we are back with a new series :)

Unbeatable follows the corporate and romantic adventures of college graduate Cherry Lu (Zhao Ke), who is mysteriously invited to attend a job interview at the biggest PR firm in the world, Logan. There is a special tradition within the company's creative department in that it is staffed by beautiful women only, men aren't allowed. Cherry comes for the interview only to be blocked in the elevator by an obnoxious janitor named Zhuo Yuan (Peter Ho). After much trouble, Cherry eventually manages to arrive for the interview. However, after meeting the creative division head, Juliet (Yumiko Cheng), Cherry is told the HR department never invited her to come for the interview in the first place...

We'll be releasing this series in both SD & HD!

This series is worth a try if only to see Peter Ho look utterly adorable in a bright orange jumpsuit XD

UPDATE: Multiupload appears (??) to not be working! So if you can upload to any site please let us know. At the moment we are testing mirrorcreator.com and it seems pretty good except for the fact files over 500mb can't be uploaded. Files over that will have to be uploaded to individual sites. If you can help but don't know which host to use feel free to ask us for preferences.

I should think nearly everyone would know by now that Megaupload has been shutdown.

90% Of the projects here were hosted on megaupload so that means we've pretty much lost nearly every link for every series we have ever subbed.

Some of our older projects we don't even have copies of anymore (things get lost over the years) so we may need your help to salvage what we can or they may be lost forever!

We might start a voting thing for which series to seed on torrents though this will apply to only batched up series and to series we still have personally.

So the plan for now is to try and upload whatever we can to whatever sites we can.

We'll start the process with our older series first. If you can help us upload these series to other host sites it would be greatly appreciated.

The idea of this blog is for us to share dramas we happen to have but have not subbed. What this means is... these are dramas that we have purchased for our own enjoyment in Chinatown and online, or have downloaded on some obscure website. These dramas came with ENGLISH SUBTITLES, but are not bootlegs, fansubs or western region DVDs. Most of our DVDs come from Malaysia, Hong Kong, or China with subtitles and are posted (mostly) as-is. We occasionally may choose to do minor editing and typesetting, but the subtitles are usually perfectly coherent from the source.

Well. This is it. The last three episodes of KO3 ever!

I've got to say it's been an amazing couple of years subtitling this series (Almost 5 years for me personally if you count KO1 and X-Family). In comparison to KO1 and X-Family, KO3 is my favourite of the three by a loooooooong way.

It's been the easiest of the three to sub (in terms of the amount of headaches, sweat and tears) and is by far my favourite of the three shows.

I've become incredibly attached to the characters of KO3 (especially Cao Cao, Zhong and Ma Chao) and I'm sure you guys all will miss your favourites too. So it is with great love and sadness today that we send off KO3 and all our beloved characters.

Also included in this torrent is the mp3 for "Far Away" by Dong Cheng Wei, this is the song that Xiu played for Ah Xiang in episode 35.

After four and a half years DoReMii is offering our viewers the chance to contribute to our work by helping us reduce some of the costs we incur in the process of bringing you all free subtitles. Profiting from fansubbing has always been an ethical no-no that DoReMii has always been firmly against, so we have decided to be very transparent and clear about how all donations will be used.

First off, nothing changes for you, the viewer. Donations are strictly voluntary. There is no punishment for not donating and there are no premium features if you do donate. Everything is as it always has been: free and public. Donations of any size are welcome, once or as many times as you wish.

We have always had, and will remain to have a free public blog and free DDL accounts. We feel that our own domain and webspace or a premium megaupload account are just pointless and trivial wastes of money. Blogger has always worked for us and Google has no issues in helping people find our blog. Also, no staff member will collect, keep, or be "paid" with the donations. All donations will be kept in DoReMii's paypal account until used and will only be used for the following purposes.

1) Assisting in the cost of purchasing DVDs for RAWs.
DoReMii has always prided itself on using the best quality videos we can find. Over the years we have gotten pretty good at finding RAWs for almost anything. However, some shows are just impossible to find outside of the DVD store. Sometimes only part of a series is ever uploaded online. Sometimes the quality is inconsistent or just consistently awful. In these cases we have had to purchase DVDs to create our own high quality RAWs. With DVD sets costing between $20 and $80 and many series being sold in volumes... well, you can imagine the sort of expense that builds up with 10 volumes of K.O.3anguo.

2) Funding our online seedbox.
An online seedbox allows us to upload files to seed torrents for us. This helps the initial seed go much faster and makes it much easier for us to reseed files. The larger and more expensive the box the more files we can store and seed at one time.

3) Supporting meaningful causes
Every year during the holidays we will give 50% of all donations in DoReMii's account to a charity or research foundation. We will take suggestions and conduct a vote so all of you can help decide what organization deserves to receive the gift.

We've decided to release the HD version when we have time to work on it.

There are differences between this version and the dvd version we have been working on.

The DVD version is 32 episodes long without any missing scenes. So it is complete version of the drama.

The HD version is 36 episodes long, with shorter episodes (by about 5 minutes) and is missing scenes or parts of scenes which of course can be found in the dvd version.

It's up to you guys of course which version you watch, however working on the DVD version is our top priority.

Armor Hero has certainly been a very different series for us to do and we enjoyed working on it immensely.

Thank you to all the lovely staff who worked on this. You guys are my heroes.

The Movie "Armor Hero - Emperor" will be following this release sometime soon. As it's a movie it will be only available via torrent here not on d-addicts.

I'll also take this opportunity to announce that we will indeed be taking on "Armor Hero XT" as a project in the future.

But before that we will be working on "Star Boulevard" a 2007 musical drama starring some big names like Ruby Lin, Jordan Chan, Eric Tsang and last but not least YiDA Huang. We are indeed recruiting for this drama, particularly translators/spot translators.

Wu Tao is a loser. He lives a fairly boring life working for an advertising agency, crushing on his cute co-worker, and watching a lot of porn. Since his life sucks, Wu Tao also likes to get lost in fantastical day dreams. One day, Wu Tao opens a file he believes to be a rare and coveted uncensored Maria Takagi adult film (at work!) which turns out to be a virus that destroys his hard drive. The file also activates Lionel, a humanized computer program that calls himself a Tracer. He tells Wu Tao that it is his duty to serve his Veeker, Wu Tao. But what the heck is a Veeker? After that, the weird events just keep on coming and Wu Tao's life is turned upside down. Is it all just an elaborate fantasy, or is Wu Tao part of some elaborate plot involving assassins, time travel, mind control, and necrotic (but cute) robots? If he wants to survive, Wu Tao is going to have to figure out what exactly a Veeker is and what it all has to do with him... quickly.

If the synopsis wasn't enough of a hint... this drama contains some mature content (heavy themes of sex and porn) and may not be appropriate for all viewers. Watch at your own discretion.
