So, with Down With Love just a few days a way from airing we are welcoming any translators who would like to join us to help on this show or any of our others. We are also looking for new timers. 3rd Birthday Grand Finale: Jam Hsiao - First Live Concert

This is it! The cherry on DoReMii's birthday sundae.
But... before we get to the goodies...
We--the collective we that sometimes means DoReMii FS and most often means Resie and Puppet (fearless leaders and Wonder Twins)--want to express how amazed we are by our staff. While many of you may have come and gone throughout this past year, you are what make us three years strong. Your dedication and determination sometimes just blows us away. This past month is a shining example of just how awesome you all really are. We are so proud of all the magic you have made happen all year long and look forward to another legendary year to come.

The fantastic conclusion to our birthday bash is Jam Hsiao's first live concert featuring special guest performances by Vivian Hsu and Khalil Fong!
Not sure who Jam Hsiao is? Download the concert anyway... You know who he is even if you think you don't. Jam Hsiao was that adorably dorky little guest star in Fated to Love You who played the veterinarian and as a movie star in Momo Love. When he's not moonlighting in idol dramas, Jam is a powerhouse rock star. This is a fantastic performance and Jam will be sure to rock you and maybe make you cry.

I'd like to note here, the reason why KO3 releases have slowed down. In the last few months we have prioritised several of our other projects that we have had running for sometime and are trying to finish them up so we can then turn our full attention to our remaining projects. Coupled with the exam and holiday season just gone, we haven't had much time to focus on it. Once we have finished up those other projects, releases should hopefully pick up.

Spot Translators Needed for Prince of Tennis

For sometime now we've had a few problems with releasing Prince of Tennis episodes. This is mainly due to the fact that all our Spot Translators (translation checkers) are very very very busy people and barely have any time to spot completed translations. Hence the slow turn around in releasing.
So we are now looking for Spot Translators who are hopefully familiar with the Japanese manga and/or with the Chinese drama itself. Knowledge of Tennis is also a bonus and if you are familiar with our released episodes even better. Translators are also welcome to join us for translating Season 2, but as I said we are in more need of spot translators at this point in time.
What is a spot translator?
A spot translator is a translator who has a very good knowledge (studied it for many years, fluent, or a native speaker with good English) of the dramas spoken language (in this case Mandarin Chinese). Their job is to check over the translator's translation and smooth out lines that makes no sense, they correct lines that have been translated incorrectly, translate lines that the original translator was unable to translate. They often have to deal with technical/business/subject specific terms or poetic/historical lines. Also this is where often a knowledge of Tennis and Prince of Tennis comes into play. We try to use as much correct terminology that goes with playing tennis and the characters specific techniques as we can.
