Ooh! How I'd love to work as a translator for this show! Unfortunately my job is keeping me way too busy for such an undertaking! I'm really looking forward to the first subbed ep though! ^^
Nipponboy911, we have different translators working on different episodes and since different people have different lives and work at different paces, hence the status of each episode wouldn't follow the same time frame as each other.
Is this going to be fullscreen or widescreen?

Hey um the link to Hataraki Man Hardsubs isn't up yet in your release section it says it's out. It's been like this for a couple of days.. what's going on?
if a progress post hasn't been updated about a recent release, the quickest way to solve your concern would be to check the first page of the blog. all releases and links are posted there for sure. you may have to scroll down a couple of posts, but if its a recent release, it should always be there.

@Kero. Do you have any idea how long it takes to translate something? Our Japanese projects always take longer because we only have a few Japanese translators.
ah, there is nothing like people who think they are being witty with their complaining so that maybe we won't notice its complaining and hold back the release because of their whining and complaining.
lord forbid that that they might use their brain and think there is a good reasom for things. hmmmm...nope! its all about thier wants and needs, i guess

and i am not personally holding up releases. its more of a general group rule. if people complain we don't mind taking our time on releases.
i feel for you people who are kind and don't hassle us, but if you only had a true concept of just how many people hassle us to be faster...we delete all the posts now that are whiny leechers, so you really don't know. its a constant thing...if we were a business, we'd have more than enough evidence to sue so many people for harassment. and we'd win too.

First of all if you know you shouldn't say it, DON'T.
I hate repeating myself in multiple places on multiple series. It's being worked on. Any changes in status are usually reflected pretty quickly. So there is absolutely no need to bother asking us to continue when we already are. If it were on hold there would be a note up to top stating that.Also we have said many times we have had some problems with this series but work is always ongoing on it. Do you honestly believe we wanted to drag this out so long? I follow this series too (duh) and I want to see it done just as much as any of you.

Episode 10 is an absolute delight. Truly heartwarming. In the typical drama, it would have played out as an awful, unrealistic romance cliche (guy and girl have to pretend to be a couple, etc.), but in HM that plot line is quickly resolved, and we get to the core of the episode: the workings of a beautiful father/daughter relationship. My favorite scene is when Hiroko is eating the bad-tasting meal her father leaves behind for her. ♥
