I think Marry Me was discussed and is on our list of dramas to vote on but we decided not to hold any votes or make any decisions about future project until we finish at least one current project. Le Robe is about half done so a vote will probably take place after that... however when Le Robe is done that will only free up some of our viet translators so unless there is a viet dubbed version of Marry Me I can't say Marry Me would likely take it's place.

I CAN DOWNLOAD, sendspace/megaupload/ and i can watch veoh...
but the forum type thing you guys have... which contains most of the videos... never works, i have been trying so hard to download from there... not only me but my friends are also facing the same problems.... :(

First of all, thank you for your support.
The reason we haven't upload more episodes to veoh is because the file for episode three is corrupted so we can't hardsub it at the moment. The hardsubber is going to skip that one for now and try to get the others done, unfortunately she is in the middle of moving so hardsubs for Le Robe are a bit stalled.
Downloading the softsubs should be pretty easy. Click on the link to the forum page. Scroll down to the credits and click on the episode number. Your web browser download window should pop up. You don't need an account or anything to download things. If you are still having problems downloading the softsubs let me know and I'll see what else I can do to help.
Hi I feel really bad about asking you guys for help, because you guys are EXTREMELY NICE ABOUT IT! And I really really do appreciate that...
I did try downloading, and when the "save/open box pops up" only an internet icon type thing that takes about only 5 seconds to download gets saved, and not a file, the box everytime no matter what i do has only 2 options...
open and save... or cancel (but..)
and then when i try actually opening the file (sometimes when i try opening the SAVED file) it always says i don't have the right software... so that is probably where my problem is...? :)
I tried looking online for the SRT. software... and that didn't help much... :) but yeah just wanted to fill you guys in....
but I can wait for veoh, it's ok, I'm really thankful for you guys (puppet princess :]) for trying to help me out though! :)

I know you are all super busy trying to finish up on projects, but I was hoping that maybe you can consider possibly doing subtitles for Top On The Forbidden City. Maybe, sometimes in the coming future. I know it may not be as popular as some of the other ones, but I really want to watch it and cannot find one with english subs. Thank you so much for subbing why why love!!! I was just wondering if someone could help me out. I went to D-Addicts to download episode 1 with subs but it didn't work. It downloaded really fast and a window poped up saying it couldn't play because it couldn't be reconized. Is there a program I am suppose to have for it to work? I know you're really busy but if you have the time please upload why why love onto Veoh or sendspace. THANK YOU!!!!
What you downloaded was the torrent file. You need to use a bit torrent program such as utorrent or bitcomet to download the episode. Read the DA FAQ for more of an explanation on how to do this.
Randomness.... The only players that work on my computer to play soft subbed videos or any type of video file other than avi formats are the GOM media player and the Combined-Community-Codec-Pack. Hope this helps anyone looking into why they can't watch the videos.
Also, I use utorrent to dl from DA. It's ridiculously easy to use.

Just one thing, when I was looking at your current project I saw one title that bother me a little. It is for "le robe de marriage". In French robe is feminine (if that makes sense) so we will say "la robe" and not "le robe". It might also be this way on purpose, I don't know, just to let you know.
*sigh* We have said this many times. We know it's not grammatically correct. Many of our team members speak French. We had a huge debate about being grammatically correct versus using the name that the Chinese production company came up with. We chose to use the name the Chinese gave it. So, it's not our fault it's wrong... blame Taiwan. lol

actually downloading is not that hard. This is my first time doing these kinda stuff. You really don't need to be a pro to download. I learned how. Kinda amazing. You just have to be willing to dowload all the files needed to play. Plus learn how to change the file format. I'm not a computer genius, and even i learned how to. I think uploading it to veoh takes longer than downloading. But that depends on how fast ur internet is. But yah, i guess it's better for others to watch it in veoh. THANKS FOR THE SUBS!!! Looking forward to "kiss" and "why why love"

Hotaru has plenty of people working on it actually. What slowed down episode 2 and 3 was the fact that our translator took a week off for her exams. If you look at the Hotaru progress page now we are making up for that lost time. Ep02 is on QC and should be out in the next couple days. Ep03 is nearly done translating. And we have to wait until Wednesday to start Ep04 because it hasn't aired yet.

Nope. I hate youtube. And if you want to download the videos then there are DDL and torrents. Veoh also lets you download.
To do the actual encoding? several hours. Depends on how powerful your computer is. (yes I am jealous of AkumaX and his uber computer that can encode at ungodly speeds). But you need to find a time when you aren't going to use your computer much to do this..... and typesetting can take a while.

SUBBING IS ILLEGAL AND DOREMII CAN FACE LEGAL PROBLEMS IF THEIR SUBS ARE DISTRIBUTED WHERE MASS AUDIENCES CAN VIEW THEM (ie: YouTube, CR, Veoh). IN OTHER WORDS, THEY CAN BE SUED!
To everyone who is complaining about subs:
HOW ABOUT YOU JUST ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET THEM SUB! What good is it going to do when you make callous comments about them "hurrying it up" or "why are you taking forever". Subbing is hard work so UNLESS IF YOU PLAN ON SUBBING IT YOURSELF, STFU!

Okay, this may sound pretty stupid (or not). But if Doremii and all the other subbing teams can get sued by putting episodes up on veoh and crunchyroll and YouTube (although most people do so on veoh and occasionally crunchyroll) why would they post it? Like why would doremii post their own projects on veoh when they can get sued?

Regarding the question about DoReMii posting on Veoh, I cannot answer that because I am in no way affliated with them. But to speak in terms of subbing teams generally...
Some subbing teams, such as DoReMii, are nice enough to upload it to stream sites for fans who aren't able to download it to see. However, based on what most subbing teams experience, they do set up some sort of team sub account where fans can watch on streaming sites because it prevents people from uploading it up and claiming it as their work, and there's also many many other problems involved.
To give an example: the most recent incident was with Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Japan). Kai200X was soft subbing it and people took his subs, turned it into hardsubs and started posting it all over the place (CR, Veoh, YouTube, etc etc). They completely ignored his wishes and so SARS was forced to upload the series onto CrunchyRoll where people can see it and to prevent some users from uploading it without Kai's or SARS' permission.
I just don't understand why people can't respect subbers' wishes. If subbers don't want it distributed on streaming sites, don't do it. I don't know, maybe those people like the praise or maybe they are just so incredibly idiotic enough to be oblivious to everything. And the quality is so low on stream sites. If you enjoy a drama, I believe it should be seen in the best quality possible.

Jenny, we have no priority list in regards to the dramas. We're all working on them at the same time, but each staff member, if they have several projects at the same time, may put one drama ahead of another. But we definitely don't have a priority list when it comes to the dramas.

Wow...you guys are awesome for subbing all these dramas. I really do appreciate it. However, I hope nobody takes this the wrong way but you guys are crazy for subbing 11 dramas at the same time. I mean I know you guys have a method and will get things done on your time (and when your available), but wouldn't it be easier to just focus on a main few?
Alas, its your site, your lives, your subs, and your time and my opinion doesn't really matter in the main scheme of things. But yes...THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUBS STILL!
well, we have...over 100 members. some more active than others, some are on vacation, some are bogged down with schoolwork or real life stuff. but still having that many people focus on only a few projects? i'd say about 95 or so of those people would sit around with absolutely nothing to do. and they would get bored...why have them sit around doing nothing and being bored when they could be working on something they would enjoy?
people may think that with so many people, there should be no reason that some episodes take awhile, but many things factor in to why an episode might take longer than others.
but lets just leave it that doremii members are busy bees on projects. we don't take on more projects than we have people willing to work on them.
I thought I explained this before but *shrugs* To add to what BGA said...
It's kind of like this. The viewers have to watch a show ONCE. Subbers... well we watch the same episode A LOT. The characters you hate... we hate more. The parts you hate we hate more. To be honest, no matter how much I actually love a show I get (insert drama name here)-ed out all the time.
Having lots of projects allows us to mix it up a bit. Instead of just taking a break all together we can trade projects and not go nuts. I'd probably end up hating a show if I had to work on only it straight through.
Releases often have a pattern actually. They come in bursts and often a rotation of series because it's a guarantee that at least one show is driving each member nuts at all times. Some shows even drive us nuts non-stop.
Now that's not to say we don't take full stop breaks as well. We do get stressed out to the point where we need to run away from all the dramas for a little while but being able to switch projects does help us from getting burned out so often.

I've had to explain this a gazillion times and its getting rather annoying and to the point I don't give a shit about X-Family anymore. People like you seriously deflate me and make me not want to work on it anymore. It's a damn tough show to sub and with a lot of my staff for it not about at the moment it's damn hard to do anything about it. I am not keeping it on hold to piss people off. Pretty hard to work on it when there isn't enough staff to do so. So please go find something better to do with your time.
I just finished watching KO One and I wanna say thanks for all your hard work. I know fan-subbing is hard work (heck even just the translations can take weeks depending on the series).
I'm aware that X-Family is on hold, and apparently Resie is getting pretty annoyed by the constant badgering. I hope you know how much many of us appreciate the hard work the whole staff does on all their dramas (and I hope translators are found for X-Family soon XP).
